Microsoft Game Studios and Ensemble Studios have released a new patch for Age of Mythology, bringing their RTS to v1.07. Nile Delta has been reworked - the map is not slightly larger, and in team games, an additional pond is present between the two lower players. Many of the map scripts have been slightly altered to make the maps slightly more aggressive.

Sea Snakes are now able to attack Leviathans/Nereids. The Bow of Artemis relic now affects Throwing Axemen and all ranged myth units dealing pierce damage. Wall connectors no longer provide line of sight (but gates, and middle wall pieces still do). The Ballista Tower technology increases tower attack by +33%, instead of +50%. The Guard Tower technology increases tower attack by +40%, instead of +70%. Dwarves now receive the reduced attack bonus (they did not have any bonus before). However, Atlantean villagers retain their total attack bonus against Siege Towers and Helepolis. Villagers's attack bonus against siege units has been reduced by half. Dock damage reduced from 10 to 8 Dock range reduced from 20 to 18. Secret of the Titans research time increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds.
